KUALA LUMPUR, AUG 18, 2021 – Destini Berhad, an integrated engineering solutions provider, today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Destini Oil Services Sdn Bhd (DOS) has secured an award from Repsol Oil and Gas Malaysia for the provision of Tubular Handling and Conductor Installation Equipment and Services.
“The contract, which is to service Repsol’s oil and gas assets in Malaysia is for a tenure of two years commencing July 21, 2021, and has the option of an extension for another one year.” according to a statement by the Group.
The Group continues to strengthen and sustain the momentum of its contract wins during the year. With the award of this contract, the Group is currently looking at an orderbook of RM486.63 million for its energy division order book. DOS is the oil and gas arm of Destini’s energy division.
This award is a testament to Destini’s resilience and agility to secure and execute work that is within its core expertise in an uncertain operating environment. The Group is optimistic on securing more contracts this year as economic recovery is afoot.
