MMHE announces on Monday that Bokor CPP Topsides has left MMHE yard after a successful sail away.

Through announcement made via company’s social media account, MMHE said the Bokor Centralised Processing Platform (CPP) Topsides built for client PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB) has sailed away from MMHE West, Pasir Gudang, Johor to Baram Delta (45km North West Lutong), Miri, Sarawak.

Marking a remarkable project highlight for the year 2020, the Bokor CPP project weighed at 11,238 MT was successfully completed with an achievement of 7,921,207 safe manhours.

The Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning (EPCIC) of Central Processing Platform (CPP) for the Bokor Phase 3 Re-Development Project by PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd. (PCSB) was awarded to MMHE on 12 April 2017.

The first steel cut for the fabrication of CPP’s topside and substructure for Bokor Phase 3 Re-development Project took place on 4 June 2018. The CPP will be installed in the Bokor Oil Field, located in Baram Delta, offshore Sarawak, Malaysia.

Bokor is a shallow-water oil field located in 67m-deep waters in the Baram Delta offshore, Sarawak, Malaysia. It is jointly owned by Petronas Carigali and Sarawak Shell Berhad, with Petronas Carigali as the operator.

The offshore oil field is undergoing phase three redevelopment as part of the Baram Delta enhanced oil recovery (EOR) campaign.
