KNM awarded contract to supply pressure vessels to SBM offshore

KNM Group Bhd has received order from Single Buoy Mooring Inc (“SBM Offshore”) to supply PME pressure vessels separators for the Prosperity Floating Production, Storage and Offloading vessel (FPSO) Project.

In a statement to Bursa Malaysia, KNM announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, KNM Process Systems Sdn Bhd (“KNMPS”), had on 13 August 2020 received a Purchase Order for the above order amounting to USD 4,081,630 (equivalent to approximately MYR 17,132,641.93 based on the exchange rate of USD 1.00 : RM 4.1975).

FPSO Prosperity is expected to be deployed for Payara Development project located in the Stabroek block in Guyana. SBM Offshore was awarded the contracts to perform Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) for the FPSO by ExxonMobil subsidiary Esso Exploration and Production Guyana Limited (EEPGL) in November 2019.
